Welcome to the Public Safety Communications Accreditation Support Network (PSCASN)! This organization and its members are dedicated to and passionate about supporting agencies interested in pursuing and maintaining accredited status. The PSCASN website is designed to be a resource to all public safety communication agencies. Our goal remains to support, engage, and provide an avenue for communication between our membership. Member agencies include Emergency Communications (911), Law Enforcement, Fire/Rescue, EMS, and Emergency Management. PSCASN works in partnership with the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA) to provide guidance.
PCSCAN members participate in our email “list-serv” providing support through the exchange of policy and compliance strategies from over 70 active member agencies.
Accreditation paves the way to providing the highest level of professional service for every agency member, as well as the citizens and public safety personnel we serve.
The road to excellence can be challenging, but help is just a click away. Please explore the web site to find out more about the PSCASN and CALEA, as well as the overall accreditation process.
We have a “Members Only” section which provides access to policies relating directly to CALEA standards and procedures regarding general topics. We offer a free 45 day trial membership to the list-serv, which you can learn more about on our website homepage.
Our Board of Directors is listed with contact information. Please reach out to any of us and we will be happy to answer your questions!
Sincerely,
Mary Anne
